Cusromer feedback :
Chris,

How's this for a brief positive feedback:

The VB-R-054 carbon road bike frameset is great fun to ride.  Super light, stiff and responsive with the added disk brakes and thru axles.  Braking surfaces are on lightweight stainless steel rotors instead of expensive carbon fiber rim surfaces, so no concerns over brake heating and damage in the rims.  Peace of mind with thru axles combined with disk brakes so no concerns over heavy disk braking loads on quick release axles in drop out slots - high precision disk brake alignment always maintained with thru axles.  The thru axles are very easy to install and remove.  There's a slight weight upper for the disk brakes (and adapters) vs dual pivot rim brakes - anywhere from 250 to 500 grams, but well worth it in my opinion.
I ride a couple of 100 km's a week or so, typical city road, beach/river bike paths & a bit of hill climbing - about 600 km's on the bike so far and it works great.
